National Nutrition & Hydration Week

The 14th to the 20th of March 2022 is national Nutrition and Hydration Week. This week is all about raising awareness around the importance of a good diet for older people.

Throughout our homes we always have a varied selection of food and drink but during this week we go that one step further.

Each day we are focusing on different meals and incorporating a selection of different food and drink types so residents can try things they have maybe not tried before. Our busiest day is Wednesday the 16th March because we are having a Tea Party!

This week is a great opportunity to find creative and delicious ways of improving residents diets and popular meals will be continued after the week is over.
